The aim of security is to protect people and property from the ever-present risks of fire, flood, theft, vandalism, terrorism and occasionally, industrial espionage. Our security services fall into four main categories: Manned guarding Manned guarding Nowhere does Elite Security promote quality To ensure that we deliver a service that is totally commensurate with our customers' manned guarding requirements, we adhere to rigorous selection, screening, and training procedures. All potential Elite Security employees undergo an intense selection process which exceeds British Standards, and includes each candidate completing a searching application form, that has been specifically designed to be far more revealing than any self-initiated curriculum vitae could ever be. Screening is then carried out which includes a thorough investigation into the individual's background over the immediate, previous ten years, with written references from former employers being mandatory. This can of course, be extended to cover a twenty year period, should it be a prerequisite for the contract, or considered necessary to maintain the integrity of a particular assignment. Every Security Officer employed by Elite Security is specifically selected
to serve a particular customer, and therefore, each individual is tested
to ensure that they have the correct aptitude for that position. Only
then will they undergo the extensive training necessary to provide them
with the relevant skills and knowledge to satisfactorily undertake the
assignment. Mobile patrols This entails an agreed number of For Health & Safety reasons, all Mobile Supervisors are in regular
contact with our 24-hour Control Room, and to confirm their exact whereabouts
at any specific time, all Elite Security patrol vehicles are fitted with
satellite navigational systems which act as a tracker of their location. Keyholding with
rapid alarm response This involves the customer's In the event of an alarm activation, Elite Security will attend the premises as quickly as possible, to investigate the cause. Should it prove to be a false alarm, we will reset the system, secure the premises once again, and advise the customer of the situation on the morning of the next working day. Should the alarm activation prove to be more sinister, the police and
the customer's after hours contact will be notified immediately. We would
then await the arrival of the customer's representative and the police,
and offer whatever assistance may be necessary to both. Once again, we
would remain in place until such time as the premises had been re-secured
and the alarm reset. Full incident reports would be initiated and forwarded
